PDO Thread Lift
The Queensway PDO Thread Lift is an innovative and less invasive alternative to traditional cosmetic face surgery and provides a natural looking tightening to the jaw, face and neck from within by using fine fibres known as PDO threads (polydioxanone).
The ‘Queensway facelift’ is for anyone aged 30 or above who’d like to achieve a more youthful appearance without the hassle of surgery, particularly if you are worried about a 'saggy face'.
What areas do we treat with a PDO Thread Lift?

Deep naso-labial folds and marionette lines (which run from the nose and mouth to the chin and contribute to a sad, frown-like appearance)

What areas do we treat with monothreads for skin rejuvenation?
Monothreads are smooth PDO threads placed in the skin in a mesh like fashion for skin rejuvenation and tightening. These are not lifting threads but are very useful for rejuvenating areas of sagging skin, fine lines, fat deposits (under the chin). We use them in the following places;
Neck (they help kill fat cells so can work well under the chin)
Décolletage
Full face
Wrinkles around the mouth
Knees
Tummy area

Patients can undergo treatment at Queensway and be out of the door within two 45-minute sessions. Only certified medical practitioners can perform PDO Thread Lift procedures.
